Here are some of the pictures that i took when i went to see Kew Gardens. I went here in september last year so unfortunatley a lot of the flowers had finished flowering but you still get a good idea of the gardens.
A few weeks ago i went to visit the 18th century country house Castle Howard. It's situated about ten miles outside of york and has some wonderfull gardens and grounds Delightful walks reveal in turn hidden glades and breathtaking views, woodland and formal gardens, as well as terrace walks and lakeside paths. Memorable sights include the Atlas Fountain and the Temple of the Four Winds on it's 10,000 acre estate designed by John Vanbrugh.
